Leukoplast®
The strong surgical tape for normal skin. Flesh-coloured, porous, of particularly high adhesive power and tensile strength.
Leukoplast® is the long-established surgical tape from the Beiersdorf range of fixation products.
Description - Leukoplast® is a flesh-coloured surgical tape with a zinc oxide caoutchouc adhesive that ensures high initial and permanent adhesion. It adheres strongly and reliably even under heavy strain. Leukoplast® is a universal tape of high tensile strength. For dressings of all types and sizes and in patients with normal skin. The adhesive is made permeable to air and moisture by a special process, thereby avoiding the possibility of maceration and other skin lesions resulting from the exclusion of air.
Uses - Fixation of dressings of all types and sizes.
Leukoplast® hospital
A porous, white surgical tape developed specially for hospital use. It has the same properties as Leukoplast® and can be torn by hand.

The transparent surgical tape for rapid fixation. Made from perforated film. Easy to tear and well tolerated by the skin.

Description - Leukofix® is the ideal tape from the Beiersdorf range of fixation products for the fixation of instruments, tubes and cannulae. Leukofix® is a surgical tape of transparent polyethylene film. It is easy to tear both lengthwise and crosswise, even when wearing surgical gloves. The hypoallergenic adhesive is tolerated well by sensitive skin. Being porous Leukofix® is permeable to air and moisture, thereby avoiding the possibility of maceration and other skin lesions caused by the exclusion of air. The thin, pliable material conforms smoothly to body contours without creasing and removed painlessly even from hairy skin without leaving any residue. The polyacrylate adhesive ensures firm and reliable adhesion.
Uses - Fixation of canulae, fixation and securing of tubes, catheters etc. Fixation of dressings.
Leukosilk®
The ideal surgical tape for sensitive skin. Made from white acetate fabric. Universal use. Extremely well tolerated by the skin.
Leukosilk® is the universal surgical tape from the Beiersdorf range of fixation products for patients with sensitive skin.
Description - Leukosilk® is a surgical tape made from white, easy to tear acetate fabric and is very well tolerated by the skin. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive does not cause irritations even in patents with sensitive skin and is chemically inert to rubber and plastics. Leukosilk® can thus also be used for the fixation of instruments and devices. Leukosilk® can be torn easily and neatly - even when wearing surgical gloves. Ideal when no scissors are to hand or for the fixation of emergency dressings. The plaster removes painlessly even from hairy skin without leaving any residue. Even at extreme temperatures from -400C to + 1400C the adhesion of Leukosilk® is unaffected. It contains no radiation-absorbing substances, and so does not need to be removed for X-ray examination or radiotherapy.
Uses - Fixation of dressings of all types and sizes, securing and fixation of tubes, catheters, probes, cannulae etc. Compression dressings in peritoneal dialysis. For first-aid and emergency dressings, equipment of emergency cases and first-aid boxes, for example in automobiles.
Leukopor®
The gentle surgical tape for highly sensitive skin. Made from white, porous non-woven fabric. Very well tolerated by the skin.

Leukopor® is especially suitable for patients with very sensitive skin and is thus the particularly gentle surgical tape from the Beiersdorf range of fixation products.
Description and properties - Leukopor® is a hypoallergenic adhesive surgical tape made from soft, pliable non-woven fabric. Leukopor® thus also conforms well to highly contoured parts of the body. Fixation is tension-free and thus very secure.
Leukopor® is permeable to air and moisture and prevents the accumulation of moisture on the skin. Leukopor® is therefore also suitable for applicaton on infants in incubators. Even during long-term application maceration or similar skin lesions caused by the exclusion of air will not result. The hypoallergenic adhesive is tolerated extremely well even by patients with hypersensitive skin.
Leukopor® removes painlessly even from hairy skin without leaving any residue. Depilation is avoided.
Leukopor® contains no radiation-absorbing substances and therefore does not need to be removed for X-ray examination or radiotherapy.
Main uses - Fixation of dressings and instruments, particularly for patients with extremely sensitive skin or on hypersensitive skin. Securing electrodes or other measuring devices on the skin.
